There is an old Ukrainian proverb with deep and clear meaning, which has been observed by attentive people:

“The one who helps is the one who wins!”

An event took place just the first day of the summer– in the local theater at the grand meeting confined to the birth of the city and the day of protection of the children, the mayor of the city presented the president of the Fund with an unusual award for the important contribution into the social partnership development, charitable activity in rendering help to the children of the privileged categories.

The “Revival” charitable Fund on behalf of our colleagues and all our ward (who are the destituite children of our city) gives thanks to the main rabbi of Dneprodzerzhinsk Levi Stambler for rendering help in form of foodstuff. Seven families of scanty means have received the food and this help means much more than any word of compassion and mercy.

Such drops of kindness may seem insignificant to some people, but to someone they are just necessary as the air. They will not only make happy someone but will give someone new hope and faith in something good and bright.

One person from the city of Dnepropetrovsk (unfortunately, the name of the city is the only thing we know about him) has recently brought wonderful gifts for our children (clothes, shoes, books for children, cartoons and…a big pile of toys).

In January 2008 a remarkable event took place in the whole story of our Fund – an agreement on cooperation with the social service of our city was signed. We had been expecting this to happen so much. This cooperation consists in information exchange, overall mutual help, and efforts unity in working with the destitute children.
